Policy

Scheduling

  • My regular hours are 11:00AM till 8:00PM Monday through Friday.
  • My studio is closed for all federal holidays.
  • If I take other days off, I will do my best to inform you at least a month in advance.
  • If you sign up for regular weekly lessons you get a time slot, that is yours by default.
  • You are free to cancel your regular slot and reschedule into any free openings in my calendar as needed on a week-to-week basis.
  • Rescheduling is handled on a first come first served basis.
  • Rescheduling must be done 24 hours in advance of the lesson time.

Payment

  • Lessons are $30 for 30 minute lessons.
  • Payment is due before your lesson begins.
  • You can pay per lesson, or pre-pay for the month, whichever works best for you.
  • I accept Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, cash, or check for payment.

Student Expectations

  • Please show up to your lessons on time. If someone is booked after you, your lessons will still end on time.
  • Students will bring their own instrument to lessons. All other equipment (amps, cables, picks etc.) will be provided for at the studio.
  • I will teach you how to do it, but progress requires regular individual practice. I expect my students to make a reasonable effort to practice the material I’ve taught them on their own time so that they are ready for their next lesson.
  • Please give me at least a week’s notice for any songs you are interested in learning, so I have time to properly prepare.

Parents/Guardians

  • You are responsible for all payment, scheduling, and out of lesson communication for your student.
  • Parents/guardians are always welcome to sit in on their child’s lessons to observe, or just pass the time.
  • If dropping off your child, please pick them up in a timely manner. I must give my full attention to the next student who’s booked.
